I have a new saying... The Beanery wasn't built in a day!
In fact, it's taken a fabulous team of staff, local businesses, friends, and family almost 4 months! Over the last few months Tracey, Patty, and Keira have joined the Hollychocs family and I cannot thank these hard-working individuals enough for helping bring my vision to a reality.
I've also had support from other amazing local small businesses! Louise from Little Bird Creative camped out in the Beanery bringing her creative flare and design skills and Nicola from Rew Farm Country & Equestrian Holiday Accommodation helped me see the wood through the trees! Valerie from GNR Leisure was a dab hand with a roller and we got tremendous support from Sam & Paul from RMS Devizes, and our friends at Tea Inc. in Devizes and Dusty Ape in Trowbridge who educated me in tea & coffee respectively. Jen from @Bunting By Jen - yes for the incredible bunting, but also for calling in with paintbrushes and sandwiches, along with Steve and his team from Windsmere Stone & Granite Limited for bringing The Beanery to life with stunning marble countertops - I cannot recommend them enough!
To my support network - thank you to my family and friends who have helped me by entertaining my son, helped with our house move (which of course we did amongst it all to add to the challenge!), and for helping Sam and I to continue after his accident.
A huge thank you to my Sam - who has worked tirelessly to build our Beanery from the ground up and developed the amazing and popular waffle menu.
And of course to you, my dear customers. Without you, this part of my journey would not be possible. Together we have created 3 extra jobs, a beautiful space to enjoy quality, ethically-sourced chocolate, and more frequent chocolate workshops.
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you all.
